2018 Halloween Witch Costumes for American Girl Dolls

Its that time of year, and planning for Halloween is in full swing.   I have created two witch costumes and a woodland fairy costume for American Girl Dolls (and other soft-bodied 18 inch girls) that are sure to please all the ghosties and goblins out there.

This costumes features stars and moons on a silver netting over silver satin.   Complete with Hat, Broomstick and Tulle Underskirt.   

This costumes features a sparkling spider web print, with small spiders decorating the ensemble.  This outfit also includes a hat, broomstick and tulle petticoat.

For those of you wanting something more whimsical for the holiday, I have created a Woodland Fairy Costume that captures the spirit of the holiday.

Nursery Rhyme Costumes for American Girl Dolls

I love nursery rhymes.   A Child's Garden of Verses by Robert Lewis Stevenson was one of my favorite childhood books.  Besides being just plain fun, nursery rhymes are important for young children because they help develop an ear for our language. Both rhyme and rhythm help kids hear the sounds and syllables in words, which helps kids learn to read!   I hope nursery rhymes and nursery rhyme games are a part of your child's playtime!
